Our dark basement turned light, bright and bigger

These are the original stairs that went down to a 700 square foot unfinished basement. We added a bathroom, took down a wall and extended the basement under our new master bedroom.


This room will be the playroom for the kids and probably have a guest sofa.




My dad had given Sergio his old lawyer desk when the moved to a new office and we plan on putting it here in this window nook. Sergio loves doing caligraphy and this will be his writing area.
