For Annie, one of the best things about getting outdoors were the soft silky sleeping bags. (Thanks Brooke for the extra ones!)
Sergio and I set up camp and the kids played in the tent and weren't that interested in leaving it. Made me wonder, why didn't we just set up the tent in the backyard? It would have been so much easier!
We camped in Salida, a small mountain town 90 miles to the west of Pueblo.
And played in the river.
At the end of the day, we arrived back at the campsite and I put together Pigs in a Blanket. Here, Luca doesn't want me to take his picture and Sergio isn't too thrilled either. I found my Pigs in the Blanket recipe needs a little revision.
