We replaced it, raised it, zazzed it up and added an arch. Of course, we kept the milk door! Which is functional and opens inside. I love leaving things for friends inside of it, especially a favorite toy or bowl that they might have left at our home. This door now enters into our mudrom

I never noticed the milk door before. I'm glad you are keeping it... I also notice you changed the direction that you open the door.
