Sophie's Writing Box
Sophie loves to write in small little notebooks. She must have inherited that trait from my dad. In fact, she still has one of his investment notebooks that he started in a burst of inspiration to organize his thoughts. I made this small writers box with a left over Christmas shoe box and felt and ribbon hanging around. 
Now Sophie has a place to put her notebooks and pins. Sophie picked out the button on front.

I love that! Matt is still not into fine-motor skills (he's all boy, which means if it doesn't involve a car or a ball, he won't touch it)! I hope he picks up a love of drawing soon... I always had visions of coloring with my kids, lol!
