I want to try some New Year's activities with the kids and came across this site. I am going to try making our own NY Times Square ball (in our home, we'll just call it, The Murillo ball) and maybe even a time capsule. Does anyone else have ideas out there for other New Year's crafts or plans with small children for the big day/night?

Oo-- cool! I'll have to take a look at that site. We have no preschool this week, so the activity will be good. I did see some cute "2010" glasses in Family Fun- might try to make those out of posterboard!
