"As you may have heard, the House Business Affairs committee voted yesterday 10 -0 to move the hearing aid legislation on to the next step, and it is getting very close to making its way to the Governor's desk -- YAHOO! It was exciting to be there and I was thankful and honored to be able to represent parents of deaf and hard of hearing children at the hearing by giving testimony to support the bill."
This is good news for everyone because it's one step closer to getting required coverage for hearing aides by our insurance companies (United Healthcare) here in CO and it will spread to other parts of the country.
