We are heading to Alaska in July to visit my sister, Brittany, who has fallen in love with the state and also to visit my other sister, Brooke, who is going to do a course for NOLS in the region. Going to Alaska to visit my two sisters is going to be quite a fun and interesting journey with my husband and two little ones who will be almost 3 and just 1 years old. How, where and what to do was important, especially since it's suppose to be a vacation for us too! Brittany pointed us to Homer, Alaska since it's suppose to be a fun artisty town by the sea and we found this cute house to rent for the week. In Homer, there are ferries to take to close by sea town with boardwalks on stilts, beaches to wonder on at low tide, cocktails to be had on the porch and long brightly lite summer evenings and nights to enjoy with my family.
Mom, the cabin sleeps 6, Luca doesn't count since he's a baby so if you want to come, there's still room!
