We are getting ready for baby Murillo to come and in the process are moving Sophie to the other bedroom and ready for her new bed. I put on the new dog sheets (which seemed appropriate since Sophie is a true dog lover) tonight and she just rolled around on the bed and gave Sergio and me hugs and kisses. She was so happy and was ready to go to bed in the big bed tonight. For me, however, it's still a little too early to move her and think we'll try in a couple of weeks. Maybe not, though, if Sophie convinces me otherwise. My little baby is getting so big!
Aunt Brittany sent Sophie a package for Valentine's Day with an Alaskan theme. Sophie opened and played with the crab bath toy, looked through the whale book excitedly, but when she got to the little surfer onsie, she took on look at it and said "Baby, oh.... cute" and then threw it over her shoulder and proceeded to go through the rest of the box. How she knows some things are for the baby amazes me. In fact, today she was looking through a magazine and saw a crib and said baby M. I guess she thinks about the new baby a lot too and is making connections all the time.
Sophie loves her little friend Nic and while sometimes, I'm not so sure Nic knows what to think about Sophie. She is trying to put on his sock as he gets ready to leave.
