This morning Sophie woke up at 7am and we took her into the living room and she ran straight for her stocking. We had place 2 little puppets on top and she picked them up and ran around with them. She was easily destracted by each present that she opened and wanted to play with each. In her stocking, Santa Claus brought her 2 little animal puppets (a lion and a monkey), Barney DVD about colors in Spanish, a Sandra Boyten book about Sophie´s favorite subject, dogs, markers and a coloring book. We also got her a few bigger items, a typical painted wooden rocking chair and stool, but we are going to open those in CO since they are dismanteled in a box. Sophie got some other fun presents too, a little tape cassette player, a money cash machine, a horse that neighs and trots, an Elmo bag, a stuff animal cow, and some other fun stuff.
Sergio´s family didn´t wake up until later, so we opened some of the presents and then waited a little bit for his mom to get up.
Sophie went to Childrens mass at 10am with Belita and then stopped by and visit some extended family.
Now we´re just hanging out and watching TV and playing games.
Sergio gave me a pretty ruby ring for Chrismtas and a book full of children´s art. We opened most of the presents Christmas Eve with extended family here at the Murillo´s. It was amazing Sophie slept through the night because just out side our window, neighbors were setting off loud booming firecracker until 1 or 2 in the morning. But she did!
Merry Christmas to all!
