Sophie is 10 months old and she is really happy about it and so are we. She just started crawling around Sergio’s birthday and is cruising after and away from me all the time. The other day, she was with her Aunt Brittany and cruised into another room, when Brittany asked Sophie were she was going, she stopped, waved "bye-bye" and turned around and kept going. Is this an independent streak coming out?
Not only is she moving quickly, but she is into pointing at everything she sees and wants us to see. She is also starting to talk. Her words include: mama, dada (papi), nana, dat (dog), ba (bath or baño), duc (duck), and airplaine (which although I did not witness, my friend Chrissy swears Sophie pointed at the sky as a plane flew over and distinctly said airplane). Sophie has also signed "dog" when she sees Rosie and Macky or wants them to come and "more" when she wants goldfish or back in the bath with her friend, Nico. Also, Sophie laughs when she hears others laughing.
She has been a little under the weather these days and we think she might have had a little virus, and I just noticed today a little tooth coming in, too. Needless to say, she needs lots of mommy-holding time.
